As a long time camp director, recruiter and All Star coach, Jim is regarded as being the Top Basketball Talent Scout by college coaches, recruiters and recruiting services nationwide. He has gained the respect of basketball coaches, recruiters and recruiting services nationwide by accurately evaluating talent and providing reliable information to them. Information concerning all prospects is disseminated to College Coaches at all levels through the prestigious “BLUE CHIP” HIGH EXPOSURE RECRUITING SERVICE, which was  recognized by Women’s Basketball Journal as one of the Top Recruiting Services in AMERICA! He has been instrumental in assisting many young players in obtaining College Scholarships at all levels. He along with the staff at Blue Chip All Stars rates players NATION WIDE thereby providing another valuable service to the College Coaches throughout the Nation. Jim has been recognized by the College Coaches from throughout the Nation as their EYES AND EARS concerning players that may fit into their programs. 

Many “BLUE CHIP” attendees are now playing college basketball throughout the United States as well as in the WNBA and Internationally. He has organized and coached both boys and girls all star teams playing Nationally and Internationally for over 20+ years. Jim is also a member several All-Star Selection Committees and a consultant for other camp directors. 

Brian Underwood

Stacy & Brian Underwood ON TOUR IN EUROPE

As a basketball player at the High School and College levels Brian gained many honors as a player. Some of which was a Honorable Mention McDonald’s All American and All Conference player at the College level. He was also a member of the All Freshman team while playing College ball for Brewton Parker College in Georgia. He transferred to the University of Kentucky and was a walk on during their NCAA championship year in 1995-96 as a starter on the JV team that featured Nazr Mohammed a current professional player in the NBA as well as several other McDonald’s All Americans. 

He has been a Camp Director and All Star coach for over 20 years. He has coached several All Star teams that toured Australia, Europe and Las Vegas. While working on his degree at the University of Florida he was able to work for Billy Donovan for a short period of time. In 1999 he established a school for teaching young players in a camp setting the basic fundamentals of basketball. The schools were a huge success utilizing the basic fundamental drills he and other University of Kentucky Wildcat Players worked on every day in practice. As a player Brian was recognized as an Exceptional Ball Handler, Passer and Playmaker and a tenacious defensive player. As a part of the camp program he conducts a mini clinic for back court players and players wishing to become better players by gaining a better understanding of the game. 

Stacy Underwood

As the International Tour Director and Assistant Camp Director, Stacy assumes more responsibility for camp operations and the tours than anyone else. Without Stacy’s valuable imput and knowledge we would be lost! 

Stacy manages all of the camp data base of players and is an integral part of the committee selecting the Camp All Stars for the past 16+ years. She has been primarily responsible for the selection of the All Stars for the International Tours, as well as traveling with and directing the Tours and Tournament activities. Stacy also serves as a consultant on several All-Star selection committees. 

As the director of the International Tours, she evaluates and aids in the placement of foreign players in America. In 2001, we toured Europe with stops in London, Paris, & Brussels. 

Previous Blue Chip Teams have played in Las Vegas, Hawaii, Europe (London,Paris,Belgium), Australia,North Carolina, Atlanta, Indianapolis,Texas and other Venues!  Because of the War on Terror and our troops in harms way in wars abroad, we have cancelled all International Tours.  We will still have 4 to 5 All-Stars teams traveling to National Tournaments throughout the Country! This year we will select 4 or 5 teams most of which will be from Kentucky to participate in the “NIKE” NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS and Others!
