The SHOOTING CAMP will be held at BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY in Louisville, Kentucky JULY 24-25, 2012. The camp will stress the CORRECT SHOOTING TECHNIQUE with strong emphasis on fundamental drills. We will stress Shooting and Offense Skills for ALL POSITIONS(Guards, Posts, Power Forwards and Wing Players)! We will be accepting High School Players entering the 8th thru 12th Grades as well as Middle School Players entering the 6th thru 8th grades. The players will be grouped according to their Age, Skill level and Grades in which they will be entering in the upcoming school year.

The camp will be an intense Teaching, Training and Fundamentals Camp Taught by top College and High School coaches from throughout the Mid-West.

Patty Jo Hedges-Ward. will again this year be our floor instructor for the camp. She has played for the WNBA; University of Kentucky, Professionally in Europe and a member of the American Team that  won gold in the Pan Am games. She is regarded as one of the best teacher of basketball in the Nation.

Tim Curry, Head Coach at Union College, and a former Collegiate standout at Lindsey Wilson. Tim is a great teacher for shooting the ball, not only does he teach the right concepts to shooting but he is still a tremendous shooter, “Tim’s college free throw career shooting percentage was 93% . As a College Coach for many years has won many awards, tornaments and league championships. He is a consumate coach and teacher of the game.

We will have a 5 to 1 ratio of Coaches to Players and will include  several NAIA Coaches, Junior College Coaches and Top High School Coaches.

If you would like to develope your game to attract College Coaches as well as to become a more productive player for your High School team, the BLUE CHIP ALL-STARS “BIG TIME” Shooting Camp is a must for you!

The “BIG TIME” Shooting Camp is a must for any player whether you are a Guard, Post or Wing Player it will definitely improve your game!

SOME OF THE SKILLS AND DAILY ROUTINE WILL BE:

• Form & Technique
• Rhythm (1-2-3)
• Shooting off Pass
• Stance
• Grip, Target, Imaginary Shooting
• Shot Pocket Technique with Ball
• One Hand Form Shooting
• Spot Shooting, Form Shooting, Catch up Drills
• Shooting off Dribble, 3 Point Shooting, Star Shooting Drill
• Shooting off One on One Moves
• Screening, Cutting, and Fast Break (Offense)
• Fast Break Jumpers, Mikan Drills, Reverse Mikan Drills, Shooting off Post Moves and Much Much More!!!!

Registration: July 24 at 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. at Knight’s Hall Bellarmine University

Camp Close: July 25 at 5:30 PM.

CAMP FEE OF $195 INCLUDES ROOM AND BOARD! ALL PLAYERS WILL BE HOUSED IN THE DORMS AT BELLARMINE UNIVERSITY!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: For those of you who will be flying in from out of state, we can pick you up at the airport and return you there at the end of camp. Also if you are coming to some of our other camps food will be provided on campus. Last year we had approximately 40 players that attended all camps our camps including the Shooting, Point Guard, Post and the High Exposure. We have 24 hour security.
